This week the British Council for Offices London Awards were announced. Our project for The Office Group working on The Stanley Building at Kings Cross was entered in the Corporate Workplace category. We were heralded as Highly Commended. The judges commented: “… the judges would like to present a ‘highly commended’, in recognition of a scheme which displays a real delight in, and excels at, place making This ingenious reinvention of short-term leased office space displays real attention to detail; from the light fittings to the fusion of old and new parts of the building. The variety of settings is both engaging and practical, such as work desks to rent and a roof herb-garden.”
